IQOS Terea sticks are simple to use. Remove your Terea stick from the packet and insure you have it up the right way, the Terea writing should be the right way up. Insert the Terea stick into your device until the top of the device is level with the silver line. Some devices feature auto-activation. If your device doesn't have this feature then you'll have to hold down the button on your device until it vibrates and the white light illuminates. You'll notice some vapour coming of the Terea stick as it's heating up, however don't puff on it until the device vibrates again to ensure the stick has heated up properly. You'll have 14 puffs or 6 minutes of run time, whichever comes first. This simulates a real cigarette which allows you to seamlessly switch from cigarettes to IQOS Terea.
Terea sticks are not designed to be used more than once, they're a disposable product. If you use a Terea stick more than once it may become an issue for your device and may not taste as it should. If you didn't finish a Terea stick in one sitting it's best for you to use a fresh one rather than reusing an old one. Once the heating process has started the Terea should be finished in that one sitting. You should never try and dismantle a Terea stick, light it, or burn it.
Terea sticks do have a smell, however it's not the tobacco smell you'd associate with cigarettes due to the tobacco not actually burning. Each Terea flavour will emit its own smell, however it's a subjectively less potent than burning tobacco. IQOS Terea vapour is less likely to penetrate furniture and clothes with its smell than a cigarette. Unlike the older IQOS devices, Terea sticks do not produce an overwhelming smell, making people around you less likely to be bothered by the smell.
No - tobacco does contain tar, however it can only enter your lungs when the tobacco is burnt. Because IQOS Terea is heated tobacco, it produces no tar. Tar is a residue left over from burnt tobacco. As no tobacco is burnt in a Terea stick, there's no tar produced. This makes IQOS Terea a less harmful alternative to smoking cigarettes.
IQOS Terea sticks currently come in 11 different flavours. These flavours include robust tobaccos, cooling menthols, and some fruit-infused flavours. The best selling regular tobacco flavour is Amber. This flavour is similar to rolling tobacco which many people smoke in the UK. Terea Sienna is also a popular choice as it features a woody aroma and a warm, balanced taste. Sienna is on the more intense side, with robust tobacco notes being strong. Terea Blue is a great selling menthol tobacco. Its's a deep tobacco flavour featuring strong menthol for a refreshing kick.
The Terea sticks are designed to be used with any device from the IQOS ILUMA range. This range includes the IQOS ILUMA, IQOS ILUMA ONE, and the IQOS ILUMA PRIME. Terea sticks can only be used in the IQOS ILUMA range of heat not burn devices, they can't be used in previous versions of the IQOS kit. This is because the ILUMA series of kits feature IQOS' new Smart Core Induction System which heats the sticks differently therefore you can't use Heets in an ILUMA kit, or Terea in any of the older IQOS kits.
